A research and impact partnership

ACOSS (the Australian Council of Social Service) has partnered with UNSW Sydney to undertake a five year research and impact collaboration to sharpen the national focus on poverty and inequality in Australia. The partnership monitors trends in poverty and inequality over time, explores drivers, and develops solutions to sharpen the focus and stimulate action to tackle these policy challenges. The partnership includes leading community service organisations Australian Red Cross, Brotherhood of St Laurence, Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand, The Salvation Army, CoHealth, Mission Australia, St Vincent de Paul Society National Council, The Smith Family and Anglicare Australia. It is supported by the BB & A Miller Foundation, David Morawetz's Social Justice Fund and Australian Communities Foundation Impact Fund.
